Converted Holding Nursery into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on the 2nd floor of Gulf Coast Medical Center. NICU has fourteen stations - all with medical gas, medical monitoring and support for infants. Strict measures for security were in place during this project due to its location in the Labor and Delivery area of the hospital.  The new medical gas piping was integrated into the main system of the hospital without loss of use in other areas such as operating rooms, medical intensive care room, emergency room and outpatient surgery.  Room finishes equal to operating room requirements, including scrubbable materials and welded linoleum floors with integral base were used on this project.
Actual photos of this project are not available. Photos show a typical NICU area.
