Constructed an addition on the front of Gulf Coast Medical Center for all of the administration offices, which included a conference room, CEO office, CFO office and other executive staff offices. Also modified the existing area to include medical records and central registration. The addition and modifications were performed in phases to minimize disruption to normal operations. Noise and vibration issues had to be resolved for penetrations through a cast in place concrete wall from the addition into the existing occupied areas. The new exterior finish on the addition had to match the existing building. The electrical, plumbing, HVAC, nurse call and telecommunications systems were new in the addition and upgraded in the existing modified areas. Finishes included carpets, tile, scrubable walls, custom millwork, casework and standard acoustical ceiling grid system.
